A substitute member of the board of directors of the French Agency for Development (AFD), she is also a visiting professor at the Catholic University of Madagascar, and she teaches at the Léopold Senghor University of Alexandria for the campuses of Ouagadougou and Abidjan. 

She co-founded the Master's degree in Health Economics and International Development at the UCA School of Economics, which she co-directed from 2002 to 2016. 

Her research fields concern development and health economics. Her first work was on the economic and health impact of a project to develop irrigated rice cultivation in Cameroon. She has spent time in Mali and Côte d'Ivoire, where she conducted agricultural surveys and studied the impact of health on farm efficiency. 

She is also interested in the performance of health centers (China, Mongolia, Zimbabwe). In collaboration with the Centre Population et développement (CEPED), she worked on the impact of the obstetrical package on access to care and inequalities of health access in Mauritania (project supported by AFD).

She is the author and co-author of more than 50 articles and has co-edited 2 books in the field of health economics.
