Innovative development indicators

The relevance of development indicators is currently a subject of vigorous debate, particularly in their inability to reflect development conditions in a reliable, comparative way.

As part of the Initiative for Development and Global Governance (IDGM), the Ferdi aims is at developing new indicators, based on robust concepts and methods, while ensuring their statistical availability as far as possible. The IDI programme supports the conception and the delivery of these innovative indicators, as well as their regular updating.
