Africa representative for FERDI's Chair "Agricultural Modernisation Policies in Africa"

Bagoré Bathily founded "La Laiterie du Berger" in 2006 with the purpose to build up the Senegalese dairy value chain, and link traditional milk producers with the cities’ growing demand for dairy products.
In 10 years, the company became one of the largest players in fresh dairy products in Senegal, and the first certified B Corp of the country.

Before founding his company, he worked as veterinarian in Europe for 2 years, then spent 1 year in a Mauritanian NGO.
